Barrett’s training department is ready to take you to the next level. Learn the intricacies of long-range shooting and maintain your Barrett rifles at an armorer level. Offering long-range shooting courses at locations around the country, as well as armorer courses at its Murfreesboro, Tennessee, factory, Barrett has the course to fit your large-caliber training needs.

LONG RANGE 50
Long Range 50 is taught over a three and a half day period where new or experienced shooters learn the fundamentals of marksmanship used in long-range shooting. During the course participants will gain an understanding of the ballistics and data collection that correlates with engaging targets up to 1000 yards. Students will have the opportunity to engage a one mile target at the end of the course.

MODEL 99™/95™ ARMORER
This one-day (8 hr) course is geared toward gun owners, gunsmiths, law enforcement and military personnel. It covers everything needed to keep Barrett bolt action rifles in top operating condition. Taught by seasoned Barrett armorers, the course covers operational theory, troubleshooting and in-depth maintenance procedures for the Model 95 and Model 99™ rifles. Upon successful completion of the course, each student is presented with a certification which is valid for three years.

RANGE DAY
Barrett Range Day (Former Students Only) will be a “class” offered by Barrett to allow former students to have full use (under RSO supervision) of the ranges we use for Training Classes. We will spend one full day on a known distance range allowing you to zero and gather data any Barrett rifle you own out to 1000 yards. The second day will allow you to engage targets on an Unknown distance range. There will be no classroom instruction, or field instruction. Barrett staff will be RSO’s and assist you in any questions you may have but will not be conducting class. This is suited for repeat students or those who just wish to shoot their rifles at distance.
